Event Recap:
On 24 November more than 50 interested people joined the first online event of the MUNA+ SDGs Event Series to learn and discuss about the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 – “Responsible Consumption and Production”. Our guest speakers Nico Hauser, regional manager at foodsharing e.V., and Nicole Klaski, founder and general manager of THE GOOD FOOD, gave interesting insights into the very diverse root causes of food waste and how each and everyone of us can counteract to prevent good food from ending up in our bins.

Act #1

Do not expect food to look perfect – we all have our small flaws and that is okay!

act #2

Donate left-overs and make the day of somebody else!

Become a role model for all potential food savers out there!

Act #3

Do not judge food by its best before date – your eyes, nose and taste will tell you all you need to know!

Act #4

Grow carrots, plant an apple tree, etc. and learn to appreciate how much hard work it takes!
