In the second event of MUNA+ on January 26, 2021, we had Shervin Ghorbani as a guest. She is a project manager and consultant for sustainability and works in Italy. In her presentation she gave us a general introduction to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The 2030 Agenda, with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is a global plan to promote sustainable peace and prosperity and protect our planet. In doing so, it is particularly important to address the needs and priorities of the most vulnerable populations and countries.
The United Nations (UN) is an international organization. Its member states are committed to maintaining peace through international cooperation and collective security. With 193 countries, almost all the states of the world belong to it today.
