A book about the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals in easy language

MUNA+ has collaborated with author Christian-Lothar Ludwig to produce a book that aims to explain the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in simple language and with visuals. This is intended as a contribution to SDG #4 “Quality Education”. In addition, we want to translate the often complex and educationally written goals and show what everyone can contribute in small ways to a sustainable future. MUNA+ believes that the contribution of every member and actor of society is needed to solve global challenges. The book provides ideas on how each reader can contribute in small ways to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and ensure a sustainable future. This is where we start with the book in easy language for adults and children from the age of 8.

The text was formulated by Christian-Lothar Ludwig and supplemented by MUNA+ with content components on the Sustainable Development Goals. The illustrations on the SDGs as well as the book cover were created by 18 different illustrators from around the world. The writing and creation process took about 1.5 years.

Get to know the Author

Christian-Lothar Ludwig

Christian-Lothar Ludwig was born in 1986 and grew up in Bavaria. For years he has been writing novels, poems and especially illustrated books aimed at children, but also adults. With his texts he deals with topics such as overcoming grief, being happy, anti-racism as well as cooperation, the connection to nature and kindred, profound areas that concern the basic emotional needs of people. The texts are written in simple words and are meant to be understood by all. He collaborates with a wide variety of illustrators from around the world to create and self-publish the aforementioned projects.
